Nepal’s football is limited only to South Asian neigbrours and our players only get chance to play with them. For that too, they have to wait 2 years in South Asian Games. It is due to very very poor management of ANFA. Why can not they hold friendlies against many other teams such as Malaysia, Hong Kong, Arab countries, or even African or European countries? What is the main problem?
Nepal now lies somewhere in 160 line in FIFA ranking and few months ago it was in 152 but all these ranking was only affected by other countries performance because Nepal has never played any matches in those months.
If Nepalese football has to be developed ANFA has to organise at least one friendly in one month. National players have to get exposure in international arena as well.
Luckily now we also have AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers.
